The Business of Ink/Toner/Printer Sales
Terry's journey of starting Terry's Laser Care started in June of 1980 when he was hired by Herald Office Systems as a service manager. During his time there he earned certifications to repair many major printer and copier brands in addition to furthering his electronics education from Horry-Georgetown Technical College.
In April 2003 he resigned from his 23-year career in the printer and copier repair industry to become a family counselor and salesman in the cemetery business.
With a total of 34 years of experience, you may say I have ink in my veins.
Six years later in April of 2009, Terry Carter left the cemetery business to return to his original career in the printer and copier repair business, this time with his own company which he called Terry's Laser Care. The name of his business uses the same initials as his own full name, Terry Lavern Carter, which emphasizes the close and personal attention to detail he has with his work. His first three clients for this new business were a hospital, a municipal government, and a local bank.

Terry Carter grew up in Conway, SC and graduated from Conway High School in 1979. After graduating he joined the United States Marine Corps Reserves where he served as a diesel mechanic for five years while also working for Herald Office Systems. He has been married to his wife Janet since 1983 and has a son and a daughter, each who have blessed him with grandchildren of their own. Terry has served as a pillar of his church community, serving in nearly every role except Pastor, and joined them on a recent mission trip to Honduras in June of 2013.
